School and later she studied aeronautical engineering from Punjab Engineering College. She was so talented and determined to follow her dreams that she achieve a Master’s degree in aerospace engineering in the United States of America from the University of Texas in the year 1984. Later she served it up with a doctorate in philosophy in aerospace engineering from Colorado University. She married Jean-Pierre Harrison, an Airplane pilot, and became a naturalized American resident.
